Mod Mode Watches is pleased to offer the Mod Mode Damascus Steel Field Case Set for all modders and custom builders.
Damascus Steel has always been a mystical mythical metal, with the swirls, bends, and curls developed over layers upon layers of hammering, twisting and stamping billets of high-carbon and low-carbon steel alloys.
This process allows different lines of steel to emerge at the end of the production process, ensuring that no 2 cases are ever exactly the same.
The journey to produce these cases has not been easy, as we explored polishing and directional cutting, leaving no stone unturned to produce these works of art.
The Mod Mode Damascus Steel Case comes with a supplied Damascus Steel case back, cut on the alternate angle to show off the loops and swirls so associated with Damascus.
Also provided is a domed sapphire crystal with clear AR coating so the dial and hands are emphasised.
For a limited time, Mod Mode Watches is also pleased to provide a complimentary screw-down stainless steel crown that we've etched with a swirl pattern to make it more congruent with the case set.
The screw-down Steel crown and a screw-down Damascus case back ensure the watch gives you 100m water resistance with the provided gaskets appropriately lubricated.
As is the characteristic of Damascus Steel, no 2 cases will be 100% alike in etch pattern.
This Mod Mode Damascus Field Case Set will fit a standard 28.5mm dial and the popular NH35 modding platform (full list of movements below).
The case comes ready for NH34, NH35, NH36, NH37, NH38, NH39, NH70, NH71, NH72, 4R35, 4R36, 6R15, 6R35 and similar movements and will perfectly accommodate a 28.5mm dial.
This case is rated for 100m water resistance with the appropriate gaskets and case back used.
